To my knowledge, I got COVID very late, not until December 2022 and I’ve gotten the three vax shots, I dodged it for the first couple years because I played it safe as well as my fam

S*** still felt like a train hit me tbh, like a more intense fever

I got one from a whatsapp group people would just spread them

I do like how it has normalized masking when sick like the Asian countries have been doing for years now

Lessens transmissions of more benign stuff like cold/flu which are a b**** to deal with

lockdown is still such a surreal experience tbh

All the games on social media everyone would play to keep each other entertained

Part of me am happy though because I think I got an extended time period with my home friends that otherwise we wouldn’t have had without covid?

Lockdown made me spend more time with my friends not at college that I probably wouldn’t have done that summer. So we grew a lot in that post HS phase

can’t wait for the next pandemic to drop it’s been too long

Working retail in 2020 and 2021 caused me to have no idea what lockdown is, literally nothing changed for me except distancing and masking.

There is a newer strain tho that is river waters and can kill, it killed one of my uncles mid last year on my white family side who is like a hippy and goes simmong naked in rivers and camps out for weeks. He was part of the first batch of people thay died from it.

But so far it isnt widespread as of now.
