i can't believe i grew into one of those bland-ass white dudes who feels like they have to make a announcement in the vein of the tannoy in a departure lounge of an airport that i need my morning coffee to get me through the day.
streets are not even done they are demolished.
Taking a nap at night was a huge mistake
Nah this the best and I just say f*** it and go back to sleep
what kind of clothes
well recently i bought a leather jacket n i had to import it from mercari japan cause cheaper loool and i was lookin for a specific style which took a while.
i want another leather jacket that i wont rly care about f***in it up and even then i cant find a cheap one or ones that faux cause they dont look good to me. its like they'll have one thing i require and then miss another thing or totally bs it up. as i go higher in price it starts to look like i envision the jacket looking.
the last thing im searching for are flared/bootcut black jeans, considering them waxed but thats make them even more pricier...im searching on depop which at least has some cheaper options but most of them dont look great... at least to me. and then ill find like a pair for $200 that speaks to me...

i exclusively made music with my ex for liek 4 years. after she left me i gave the beats/songs to other artists that made magic with them too

i couldn't get her into anything artistic + couldn't create much while with her, I would consider giving my beats to other artists but I don't know any
okay @Slapfiendd
on the micro level: iPod is a device where music is at the forefront and not just another app on your personal hand held computer. you bring up limewire but even if you are downloading music illegally to add to the library it IS YOUR personal library that you have built up and collected. the music on there is yours forever, and that device is durable and has wired headphones which sound better for real listening and incentivize listening to albums straight through more because you cant just hit the screen real quick and skip songs. I could go on here if you want
whereas with streaming you are just allowed access for a monthly fee and they can (and have plenty of times) take it away or make changes without your permission. going through the process of waiting for an album you're gonna love, downloading it, syncing it to the iPod, and letting that thang run is a feeling that cant happen with streaming where the gratification is too quick and then you also have access to a million other releases and also have to deal with the device that is meant to keep you addicted.
macro level: when ipods were at peak popularity most people were using itunes to purchase albums, not using limewire. limewire and file sharing sites existed but the purchase of albums was never higher and will never be that high again. this meant that artists had to build fanbases by making consistent quality projects over and over again and would often give them out for free. thinking of wiz, Kendrick, future, drake, Cole, frank ocean, the weekend, I could go on. so we kind of got a golden era of projects and these are the artists that still remain on top of the game
the biggest way to get a fanbase now well really I can't tell you because there haven't been any lasting superstars since this era. I would say carti maybe for rap but his latest album lasted one week. the biggest incentive for money here is background music because that's what streaming turns music into. the immediate access has turned artists from great projects makers into almost throwing s*** at the wall to see what works and boost the streaming numbers.
I also feel the same way about streaming tv and movies
Netflix literally has made their trillions from background content and not good things. they made good things once upon a time but then turned from that because background s*** was too profitable

sometimes u just gotta find random artists on youtube or soundcloud by searching for covers of ur fav songs. ive had plenty of success doing this. or u find them on instagram / music discords. like my bandmate, i randomly found her on insta cause she followed this local small group so i was like ok.. she prob has good taste in music. then i snooped , liked the songs she'd post on her stories and hit her up
as for my ex, i really liked her singing so creating was always on the table.
hopefully u find a girl u can create with. i prefer it over working with guys cause they just be saying bs
Im prob gonna have to go thru all my rfcs and email them all
i was dreading this day. i got too much work to do
