The maximum you can work in my country is 44 hours every week

But everyone there is working about 60 hours every week (~10h everyday, Mon to Sat). Officially, we are working normal hours because we don’t clock in/clock out ourselves – they do it for us in the appropriate hours. We keep working after the official time to leave, but that’s not in the system.

Also, we are supposed to have 2 hours of lunch break but no one takes all this time off. Most just take a 15-30 min break and go back to work, but OFFICIALLY we are not working during these two hours because, like I said, they clock in/clock out themselves. Officially, we are all taking 2 hours off.

Thank God it’s just one month in this job. Only two weeks left. But I feel really bad for the other people working permanently there.
