Tell me where from my post you got “force” or giving a song a thousand chances. Actually tell me
I didn’t say I force myself to do anything and I also didn’t say anything about everybody liking everything?? What are you talking about man
A lotta people would have way better taste if they didnt think they were always right
You will like any song eventually if you listen to it enough times
Me: “I like having an open mind because sometimes I change my mind”
Fader: “you force yourself to listen to a song 1000 times until you like it”
!https://youtu.be/m6XVORxNzh8?si=QjhvIqlwMikDfGk0It’s called an implication
It’s called an implication
I speak directly, no need to assume implications.
Especially when implications are a concept we usually learn after the concept of a question so maybe ask if I meant that instead of telling me I meant that.

That has nothing to do with forcing anything, all I’m saying is my opinion changes and I wouldn’t want to remove a song because my opinion on it can change
When I was a kid I didn’t like the love below I love it now, that didnt take me listening to it 1000 times i didnt listen to it for years but when I did again my perspective was different.
why would you remove one of the best songs on the album
Probably the only person I've seen online that likes this song besides me (IRL it's on the opposite end tho, I haven't heard anyone hate it)
Always been a high point to me on the album too, I don't get the dislike for it - the groove of the song is so good too
I read that people don't like it for the effects of the chorus? Even tho the chorus is short and Kendrick has been those type of vocal effects since literally OD n S80, and imo it works very well and contrasts the theme of being "real" with this yearning, self pity and artificial-like voice that the filter n effects do on the chorus
I've always liked it a lot since it came out, and how it's so atmospheric and rhythmic too

I didn’t have to ask, it was a logical assumption to draw based on the progression of the convo.
Anyone would assume that you’re implying that people should listen to a song they don't like numerous times until they start to enjoy it
Why do people dislike "Real" so much?
I like that song a lot, lol
Never heard people disliking it irl but online for some reason it's been a common "critique" since like TPAB era
Idk why, always been one of my favs
Same with how people ignore Good Kid online too for some reason, although I hear people play it irl on their own accord

Well your “logical assumption” mislead you so now what
Most of the time that’s just mere exposure effect though
I've never ended up liking a song I genuinely dislike
Although I have grown more fond towards some songs I'm neutral for or don't care for
Either way
A lot of my fav songs ever are songs I didnt like at first
A lotta people would have way better taste if they didnt think they were always right
Me with Yeezus

You can hate a song by hearing it too much too
It's moreso about having memories with the song that can create a fondness that wasnt there
Not just by having it on loop in your room by yourself for like a week
Me with Yeezus
Exactly
My first listen of Yeezus i didnt like Im In It at all i was like 12 and thought the song was freaky asl now its one of my favorites lmao

the mere exposure effect doesn't apply to stuff you actually dislike, op's just trying to sound smart

That’s definitely not true, I see what u mean saying things grow on you the more you listen but it’s not like a direct more listens = more enjoyment

Dude is addicted to arguing lmao
Im so glad yall saw that for what it was lmao
