WESLEYS THEORYHe had a voice that works really well for rap but buddy really just wants to make Steve Lacy mixed with classic Neptunes deep down but his voice will not let him make that type of music without voice pitching or relying on guest features.
Kind of sad tbh but he’s talented enough to work around it.

May 16, 2025Kendrick over the years has learned to make his voice more palatable but him & jid sound robotic. Em since MMLP2 sounds like he needs testosterone shots. Drake has gotten better over the years but for a longtime his voice was very flat with no low end to it. I like weird and unique voices, it only sounds bad to me when the voice doesn’t match the music

Yea Tyler’s rap voice is crazy good he just really wishes he was a tenor.
If Tyler didn’t have that voice the whole marketing of his early s*** being so vile and controversial prolly wouldn’t have worked.

Cole voice is far from average, in terms of enunciation, projection, and range of emotions it's very good. A song like 4 your eyez only works as well as it does because his voice pair with the writing captures ur attention.
Kendrick way of using multiple different voices for different purposes is a big part of why his music stands out and is more engaging than others. Even then his regular rapping voice is very emotive.
Drake gets parodied for everything lol. That doesn't mean that much. But he's also similar to cole in the sense that his clarity is really good but his use of cadence and his versatility is another. There's a reason why those songs he had written for him sound much better when he performs them
