GOAT rap voice of the underground.
Dude picked up the 'yasiin bey' vocals mantle
Oh horrible voices: everyone on D12 that wasn't Proof.
Those mfs just weren’t really that good to begin with
Em put them on as a thank you for giving him support locally when being a white rapper had you openly discriminated against
Depends on how u use ur voice in terms of delivery, cadence, projection, etc.
Like reason voice is too nasally and for the type of music he makes it doesn't really fit.
Big sean is bit too high so when he gets on those hard beats, it just feels off.
I take back my earlier post, Mach Hommy and Freddie Gibbs the rap voice goats.
What made me realize Mach was him was when he did a whole verse in Creole over a Kaytranda beat and I was still locked in.

Excluding Proof
That mf was too talented to be stuck with the rest of D12. But he was a good person and put his friends and making sure they eat above his own priorities.

5 years ago I would never say this, but i want a mach house-rap album
10 tracks of this would be GOD level

Personally I think earl voice isn't that good tbh
Big fan but not mad at all
best voices out that whole camp is mike, niontay, and mavi
Here’s someone who’s voice I think actually has worked against him within the last 5-6 years and a good chunk of the reason he gets a lot of hate now
Kid Cudi
He never had like a great singing voice, but it was distinctive and worked well with the type of music he was making and rapping he was doing, it used to be clear sounding when he was rapping or singing.
These days, when he isn’t drowning his singing in autotune to hide his weakened voice, he will mumble rap in the most unlikeable monotone voice and just kill the vibe of the whole song.

I love his voice
Although I understand why someone wouldn’t like his delivery with how monotone it can be at times (IDLSIDGO being the exception ofc)
tyler the 1 in 100 case where his deep voice can be a disadvantage. And I only know this cause he's said many times he wished his voice wasn't as deep as it is lol.

didn't kid cudi last another 3-4 years longer than he should have because of his 'harmonies'

There was a period between 2016-2020 id say, where he had this huge cult following where everyone was appreciating him and really gassing him up, and then right after MOTMIII dropped, a lot of those same people turned against him.

He had a voice that works really well for rap but buddy really just wants to make Steve Lacy mixed with classic Neptunes deep down but his voice will not let him make that type of music without voice pitching or relying on guest features.
Kind of sad tbh but he’s talented enough to work around it.
