Gonna watch this tonight

Really impressed at how deeply personal this was even if its his most encrypted and contrived narrative ever. That's a nice contrast. Probably his most important movie. Messy enough to feel human.

This movie moved me deeply, and it also slightly confused me.

I need to rewatch it to fully understand what he was trying to say with this one.

I thought it was him making his quarantine movie while also commenting on him making it and what he's went through. Like the A story is America in a time of crisis and worry about the future and what not and the B story is like, I'm only human and this is about me and how I process things. He's the workaholic director and the distant artist and the reclusive writer and he's also part of this community even though he feels so alien and driven to create to keep himself together.
