Actors know they're going to be in a classic when they're in a Wes film so they just do it for fun basically. It's a good system because it keeps his costs under $30 million dollars which keeps him able to do whatever he wants.

Isle Of Dogs way f***in better than French Dispatch

Isle Of Dogs is great. One of my personal favorites, although I know it’s not everybody’s. Have you seen other Wes films?

I feel confident saying that if you loved those two films, you’ll enjoy Isle Of Dogs.

Some of his films lack character development imo. A lot of his characters are quirky and interesting, but they can be pretty one note. I feel like Rushmore, Life Aquatic, Darjeeling Limited, and Isle of Dogs show the most growth in their characters
