FriesI feel like Wes understands what being a kid is like more than a lot of directors, Rushmore and Moonrise Kingdom near enough bring me back in time
I also love the way he juxtaposes more adult content and sometimes some pretty dark stuff—with an aesthetic that is almost like the facade of innocence.

I know he loves his type of humor but I’d love to see him take on someone else’s script with his directing style one day
