drake not going no where he just need to make us dance and wave our hands and he good
Preferably he needs to grow the hell up
Ironically he would’ve been more appealing to the younger crowd if he wouldn’t have tried so hard to appeal to them in ways that seemed to stunt his growth
Kendrick is popular with that demographic especially now between the beef and songs like Money Trees/Swimming Pools getting massive second winds because new music fans are finding it through TikTok or wherever else
Drake has that effect with songs like Best I Ever Had, Fancy, Practice etc picking up a cult following in recent times. With a catalogue like his, he could have maintained his popularity (and dignity) if he played it straight.
Look at Sade. She’s obviously always been massive but she’s found a new, younger audience organically without even having to do anything. Same goes for Frank and Early Eminem on some level.

Any songs from that dog album even make waves? You sayin that like it'd be easy
Just can't count him out. Yes, his back is against the wall in terms of public perception, but all he really needs is a hit, then a solid album reflecting on some real s***.

drake will fall off when he comes out w a major album w a big rollout n everything but it severely undersells.
until that happens, i wouldn't worry abt it. people acting like beef isn't the best promo lol
drake next one will do crazy numbers first week just off ppl wanting to hear what he has to say after the beef
This, and also, he's a $400 million dollar investment. There's no way he's gonna get thrown by the wayside.
He’ll always have his diehard fans which for better or worse he has a lot of
idk why it kind of reminds me of r kelly tho, i still meet older woman who say stuff like "they dont get the ppl who do a lot worse stuff than r kelly thought, why him"
its not the same because it was a different time but the giant number of die hards that existed doesnt die out
I truly can’t imagine getting legitimately excited for a drake release nowadays. No heart, no soul, no nothing
i really feel this, plain and simple
Her Loss should have been the last time we heard anything from him til at least Q4 2025/Q1 2026… and that’s coming from a FATD apologist
Drake is the dude who stays at the party way too long and asks “so what’s the wave after this?” while the hosts are trying to clean up

FPS and Rich Baby Daddy both hits.
Drew a Picasso is a cult classic like hours in silence is.
But you not wrong with the fall off talk but its more of a fade out.
Yeat is falling off too
Yeat is so trash. Literally turn the auto tune off..... And then what? He relays so heavily on auto turn that he wouldnt have a career without it
not a flop, not a single and went #44 first week and #49 this week, sexyy's second highest peak
If this aint the biggest cope ever
No BBL Drizzy assisted single should be charting below Top 40

It’s not just autotune helping him lol
It’s engineers doing the heavy lifting, Same with Carti
I mean in retrospect it already happened. “The reign” probably ended in 2018 and honestly moreso in like 2016-2017 with the arrival of the new freshman class and how they “mattered” more than Drake. Carti had/has something in his movement that Drake couldn’t get no matter what he does or did in 2017 or moving forward
This don’t even get into the Pusha situation
3 billboard #1 hits in 2018. His mainstream peak was definitely 2018.
He’ll always have his diehard fans which for better or worse he has a lot of
That’s the thing about Drake. He has a lot of casual fans who throw his songs on playlists, but very few people are big fans of his comparatively. Atp in their careers, I’d say Nicki is in the exact opposite situation.

Yeah i originally had Gods Plan and that year as the peak but someone would bring up LNCL and Toosie Slide lol
His main period of control was 2011-2018 ish again without even considering the impact the Pusha thing had
If this aint the biggest cope ever
No BBL Drizzy assisted single should be charting below Top 40

A fade out is way worse than a fall off
Also drew a Picasso ain’t s***

i mean look at his discography yourself lol, he’s had other features chart lower

Platinum doesn’t really mean much in this era.
