Its cool they're still reinventing their own sound this late in their career, but it's not like there arent bands adding orchestras to their production (easiest example I can make is Coldplay). But it's dope nonetheless and I enjoy it.

Easily the best album from them since White Album or even Pinkerton, gotta give it a few more listens but Rivers sounds great over this orchestral production.

such crystal performance especially for his age, not everyone holds it up like this vocally

cant even pick a stand out it’s all just gems stacked on gems... numbers, the radiohead hours with its beautiful lyrics.. aloo gobi chorus stuck in you for days.. grapes of wrath, bop of the year
bird with a broken wing...
mirror image and its heartbreaking outro, some of the most beautiful poetry lyrics by rivers ever here too... la brea tar with the super brian wilson chorus

dead roses with its dark back story that one hits different when you read it up

the mixing and production so tight and crispy

drumming so kickass...
hooks on hooks, short enough to put an orchestra themed album on repeat - who would’ve thought about it!

still pinch myself that this is a Weezer commercialized release album

coldplay started with that right off the bat so it’s different

weezer started and is known for this:
