I would say yes LMAO but it’s more of a confusing and dull listen than anything else because of the weird misuse of electronics. Such a high fall from making music ppl were considering acclaimed and a landmark in indie rock canon it’s worth a listen for tht alone. It makes u appreciate good songwriting and production a lot more after you’re done

goatdiamond itt you picked the best one to have something drastic poplar opposite to blue, red is the most expensive weezer album on a production value and it shows, the room the sound gets through each instruments is insane - it’s also the album where rivers was tired of the formula and broke it down: no more songs about girls or with guitar solos, altho the angel and the one do match the intensity of only in dreams, that’s why there’s songs written and sung by other band members too (automatic written sung and performed on guitar by the drummer pat wilson, rivers plays the drums on that one, thought i knew - written sung and performed by the guitarist brian bell, and cold dark world - sung by the bassist scott shriner who came up with the bassline and rivers wrote the whole song around it for him)

have you heard the deluxe? its best rivers written songs are on there 🥵🥵🥵 you’re gonna be mindblown - trust my word

I was listening to the deluxe but I stopped before the deluxe songs. so i just heard the standard 10 songs i believe. and yeah the reason i chose to listen to it is because the white album sounded too much like blue. I wanted something different, plus I like the cowboy hat on the cover lol
