It might not but that's by design. Ticketmaster doesn't want shows to sell out anymore because a sell out means tickets were priced lower than demand. They'd rather use platinum tickets to dynamically raise prices so it doesn't sell out until the very last moment when they've already squeezed every dollar they can out of fans

Advanced stats are used because basic stats don't necessarily show how good or bad a player was in a game, season, etc. It's a way to give counting stats meaning.

Music sales is a counting stat. It doesn't tell you anything about the album other than sales

And we have a "dedicated" sports section lol go in there and talk about vorp, raptor, lebron and all those type of advanced stats and see what they say to you lol

Floor seats in Dallas were like $330 a ticket a couple weeks ago. Which is outrageous. I think I paid like $180 for floor seats for Drake's last tour. But they've already come down to $280. Eventually they'll keep dropping until the show sells out. That's Ticketmaster's new strategy with "platinum tickets".

So your options as a fan is to either buy tickets early when prices are their highest, or try to wait it out and risk the show selling out. It's bullshit.

People definitely look at a lot more than just total sales over in the sales thread. Advanced stats is just applied counting stats. They do the same s*** over there by looking at individual days, per track basis, Spotify vs AM %, paid vs ad supported, radio play, etc... S*** the Billboard Hot 100 is in itself an advance stat with a proprietary formula nobody even f***in knows.

I mean it's by definition not counting stats. Once you start taking raw numbers and plugging them into equations to come up with new numbers it's at the very least a rate stat. Just because no one has bothered to create official names and categories for the statistics over there doesn't mean they don't exist

You financial incentive is right there... fantasy football lol but let's say youre not playing for money, you can still use those advanced stats to make a claim he is the best rb in the league (which he is ) you can't do that based off sales
