Think about color palettes and stuff

Rn u have a lot of black w random accent graphics up top
The green logo w the white logos on the shorts as accents
I don’t think they go 😭
For one I’m not rly a fan of logo as design tbh but having basically the only design elements of your outfit be logo oriented is off putting. Like your shorts are just regular shorts u cld wear at home, same w the shirt. Neither have an interesting silhouette or material or color…. So it feels like u just kinda went ham at zumiez…
Not saying everyone has to dress super avant- grade or high fashion or something, but I think playing around with color and pieces that are eye catching without being logo oriented would be beneficial

Additionally… those socks…… are not it
I can see ppl wearing them, I just can’t see you pulling them off within the next year 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Like u seem to like color bc u said ur sandals are purple, so why not consider what colors complement and contrast w purple well and go off that

Time is everything. Think about garments like words, and putting together a good fit is like constructing a competent sentence. In the realm of garments consider the relation not only between the pieces as a subject and a predicate but consider your body as well as a subject to the garments assemblage as the predicate. Once you have found the 'equilibrium' you will understand what the word style means, and that the word style can only mean something for the individual in the absolute sense of the word 'individual'. In conclusion what is meant by saying 'take time' is that it takes time (literally) to find (or acquire) the individual style.

its weird for me because the "Obama runtz fit" I still think is rlly cool

this is deadass how I love to dress. I feel good wearing this. but everyone shat on it itt so idk that kinda shook me a lot lol. I think a lot of that had 2 do w the photo itself, its a rly weird perspective where u don't rlly notice the tilt, but it makes my legs and feet look way smaller than my head and shoulders, I promise its not this top heavy irl.

idk I think ive definitely found a style I rlly like, but nobody else does lmao

Tbh if u like it it doesn’t rly matter what others think imo

But if you’re looking for validation on it and are upset u don’t get it, it’s understandable to be upset, but you do not NEED to change for other people or anything. Do not feel like you NEED to dress a certain way, if it makes you happy and suits your lifestyle I think that’s enough

I also think considering brand values and stuff as something you could also get into

Like I know a few ppl in this sxn rly care about the brand story mfg—everything’s handmade and natural dyed organic etc etc etc. they as a company obviously have strong brand values and that’s something people really respond to. Or people like certain brands like arcteryx bc of the great quality and such and such. I think considering brands as deeper than just a name can help guide what u want to support

But also I think if you’re just experimenting, you should probably as other ppl have said go for thrifted stuff rather than outright buying a crazy piece you might not like a few moths later
