molly baz's tomato toast w sesame mayo. her recipe was paywalled but i love a good tomatey bread so i basically just took kewpie and added a drizzle of sesame oil lol

we got 4 salteñas (chicken and beef, but i think we got 4 chickens lol), super good. sopa de manis in the back (peanut and potato soup)

sandwich de chola w pork in the front, chicharron de pollo in the back. pork was so flavorful and tender, loved it. fried chicken was also rly flavorful, beer battered and v juicy. batter had a lot of spices in it

and we added brisket to our soup--soup was incredible, way better than i had expected. it was great on its own but the brisket went crazy

bacon wrapped stuffed dates - p good but u cant f*** up devils on horseback

mezze sampler -- aight, not a fan of whole wheat pita tho.... was storebought pita for sure

lamb kofta tagine was cool, felt it cld b more flavorful tho tbh--the kofta was fine but everything else needed a bit more
had pearl couscous on top and reg couscous on bottom. i was scraping the plate of the mezze platter for the last dredges of harissa for this lol

date crostata- pretty good. crostata pastry itself was v meh but cant hate on warm dates tbh
overall the actual spot itself had a rly cool vibe and the place has a kinda rustic quality ig. food was nice but nothing crazy... i wld not recommend it to a moroccan auntie tho lolol

overall i rly liked this spot, defs a community joint for sure. we went at like 9 and it was still packed full
