Drake & J. Cole moms both white and poor without a dad only diff is geography. The fact the hood dictates the black experience is crazy. Rich successful non impoverished black folk experience the same level of otherization and low expectations all black folk experience a suit or money ain't changing that. I get what you're saying but the idea that poverty or hood experiences make you black. Is the literal propaganda I just thought hip hop had grown past this by now considering all the rap artists we've had this decade that do not fit the typical mold of blackness or rapper asthetic. In my view of real life and hip hop s*** a lot of people have fam or friends or xp related to the "streets" you wouldn't think did. The world is a big place, bigger than any one city or hood black experience.

#2 He never lied about where he was from or his background or none of that. He never lied about being in the streets.
