With those two albums being the first two without Tops influence, I think both albums shows the heavy curation TDE does with their artists albums in contrast especially when comparing his older works with the new ones

The album was overrated because it was a big shift in tone and there was no bangers. Coming from Damn it would be jarring but i thought it was a phenomenal pivot. MFers wanted a club song on an album about trauma, therapy and dissecting the culture that creates the cycle. Some parts were done a little sloppier than it could have been but ultimately i thought it was well executed and it’s going to be more appreciated over time

I liked Mr Morales way more then DAMN, I don't know what about DAMN kinda stops me, it is like I like most of the songs separately, but in the form of the album it just don't hit me.
