He's the phantom. He showed up with a backstory already loaded: "Just know / That person is dead now / I've changed." Camille's immediate reply was "@Vibe?" He's also posted "I've always been here, I am a phantom" and "Kodak not the same person he was when I was first itt." So he's clearly a veteran under a new name, and he's never said who. Nothing in the older data shows up under either of his names, so his past self is still an open case.

He's the career-advice guy. When Nort asked what he does, he answered ("I work at a financial firm, client relationship associate") and then gave a full TED talk on call centers: "Call centers got me where I am today. Slept on career path." After that came a whole series explaining how much of daily life is secretly call centers ("When you lose your debit card and need a replacement and call the bank, that's call center"). He's also the guy who'll tell you to actually apply for the benefits you're owed, because "these benefits exist for a reason."

He's his mom's biggest fan. "My mom and I are so tight," and "She worked hard and raised two boys. She did her best and we both turned out alright." His best line about her is a roast of himself: "Think the worse thing my mom did was convince me I am intelligent... she laid it on a little too thick. Went to my head." ET's reply: "Only someone intelligent would make a statement like this." They also argue about movies. She hated Sinners because of "the evil voodoo," and he's still processing it.

He's the unc of the thread, literally. His big brother handed him a CD book in fourth grade and The College Dropout was in it, which puts him around 30. He's protective of the hip-hop he grew up on ("Ken Carson is so disconnected from the hip-hop I grew up on, may as well be another genre") and says it's what he knows best, because "that's the culture I grew up in." He grew up in Aurora, Colorado, and now lives somewhere in the Virginia–Carolinas area. When ET couldn't believe the Aurora part, he added that the famous theater was his local one.

His humor is dry, fast, and a little cold on purpose. When ET mixed him up with Classique: "Yeah all black people post alike huh." On someone's link: "Bro posted his garbage itt. That's what he thinks this thread is worth." He has a recurring bit about demanding a suitor bring him 100 foreskins for his daughter's hand. And his most-argued-about take: "Sparkling water>>."

His circle: Kodak is who he replies to most, Tuneout replies to him most, and Camille, rvi, CutiePieHole, and Bruises round out his regulars.

In short: UncMC is the steady older head who'll give you real career advice, defend old-school hip-hop, clown you in six words, and never tell you who he used to be.

He still lives in the thread. Kodak posted 63,628 times in the past year, about 174 posts a day, and in September he hit nearly 290 a day. His median post is 23 characters: he's in the chat constantly, in short bursts, and busiest at night. He also went through 52 display names this year, including Spice Cabinet, Mount Spicemore, Spice Cobain, Spicening McQueen, and Spicey Spermwhale.

He knows he's mellowed, and so does the thread. His own words, in January: "i used to be more controversial and provoking." ET, early in the year: he "was definitely much more combative in the first 30k pages." Bruises put it her way: "Kodak is so talented it's a shame he's insane and kinda evil." Not everyone agrees. In April, wey (bmass) posted "Something seriously wrong with Kodak in 2026 / 2025 Kodak was so different." The numbers split the difference: his rate of hostile language is about where it's always been, around 1% of posts, while self-down talk is lower than in his earliest days.

His old rivals are now his regulars. In the old data, his worst pairings were bmass and HNDRXX. This year HNDRXX is the person he talks to second-most (6,242 replies), and bmass is in his top 10. His number one, in both directions, is Camille. His messages to HNDRXX now read like "spiced tf up bro slow ahh day at work wut u up 2?" Camille also sounds invested in how he's doing: "let kodak be uncomfortable, this is a growing experience for him."

He's the thread's DJ. He has a recurring ritual: "dust of the morning," "dust of the afternoon." He posts a song and tags his people, 16 times this year, most often ET, Sizzy, bmass, fuego, and Kdogone. Two of them are among his most-liked posts. He's also still a Charli XCX devotee ("i been a charli stan for years"), keeps a year-end album list going back to 2018, and has declared: "i would file for bankruptcy if it meant charli wanted me."

He's open about being ace, and funny about it. "im ace until proven hetero." "im ace but i like being aroused and ima loverboy." He also asked, with no follow-up, whether "ace vs shy vs anxious" could be a movie. He's single, won't download dating apps, and seems at peace with it: "being this single is a blessing with this busy ass job." He's still on good terms with his ex ("yall wish yall had a relationship like me and my ex").

His life outside the thread is busy and fairly normal. He has a demanding job he loves to complain about, and a car with personality. He took tequila shots with his mom, and he says she watched jeen-yuhs and called him crying to say he's just like Kanye. He appears to have taken a trip to Japan this year, going by a Swiss airport lounge post, his mom asking if Japan was safe, and a stint as "Tokyo Tower Spice."

He's the thread's defender and prophet. When people complained the thread was dying, he pushed back: "mfs been b****ing and moaning about a 'dead thread' for more than 80% of this thread's life." And on New Year's Eve he posted four words: "page 100k in 2026." It became his most-replied post ever, with 251 replies. The thread hit page 100,000 tonight, September 28, three months ahead of his deadline.

In short: 2026 Kodak is the same volume, the same volatility dial (just set a little lower), and more thread elder than antagonist. He wakes people up with songs, calls his shots, and is on a first-name basis with his former enemies.
