I dont even thnk this is it . I was thnking ths show was 10/10 but last episodes last 15 minutes and almost this whole episode was extremely rough. manousos almost died, had to be lifted to a hospital by the hive, carol gave in and tried to kill herself, she asked them to come back and reunited with zosia... a lot happened. we got some slow montage scenery scenes of manousos adventure and carol doing I Am Legend s*** for like 20 mins. the intention is not to "bore" the audience he's assuming people have some patience and enjoy the slow burn. we already know next episode is plot heavy from the description, I want to live in the world with the characters for a little bit, why is that inherently "dreadful" and "boring" unless you have low tolerance for this kind of pacing & worldbuilding

The show doesnt have a large cast, it's really just 4 actual characters so it feels pretty empty. There's extended moments of no dialouge. The overall plot doesnt move forward that much per episode. The show is pretty slow paced and I can get why people might not fw that.

But I feel like the slow burn is just Vince style and it'll pay off. It might be more exaggerated here because the cast is small. But I appreciate and enjoy all the world building and visual storytelling elements going on like these little moments in this season that people might think are boring or insignificant can become something larger in the future. Thats just how vince does things.

Like I can see this show being extremely rewarding upon rewatch after the season or show is over.

Vince just blew the doors open with the pilot but it’s been slow paced ever since.

I can understand why fans of Vince don’t mind it and can enjoy the slow pace build while non-fans find it boring and a bust after the pilot.
