Nah with the steam controller API, you can set any button to do anything a keyboard and mouse do. Makes those 4 extra backpadles amazing

Also the touchpad for a mouse. It was unexpectedly good on the steam controller

ironic that right below their line about three nintendo published games on switch costing $180 they talk about how this can play sims 4. all of the sims 4 dlc together would cost more than a steamdeck

They will never try to be that powerful, but what they can do is improve their online services, software. Be more fair with pricing regarding 3rd party games.
