you can bet on american socialists/communists to tell you that your people is indeed WILLINGLY mourning a man who worked under a literal tyrant who oppresses and kills their own people.

this type of thinking is exactly why stallin and other failed communist countries got to how they are.

You fool, they're brainwashed and those whom aren't will be killed if they don't.

do you know where the term "brainwashing" comes from? it was initially used to explain why American POWs in the Korean War were defecting to the Chinese in large numbers. instead of just admitting that American GIs didnt want to drop napalm and bombs on korean villages, they invented a conspiracy theory about mind control.

the large majority of Koreans saw Kim Jong-Il as a national hero, the living legacy of the Korean people's fight against French, Japanese, as well as American imperialism. Kim Jong-un today has an extremely high approval rating in South Korea, something like 80%.

i mean fair ig but who is literally making ppl enmass in the street mourning him

like if it was a few videos cheering like have been spread by allegedly media corps looking to legitimize it, it’d be one thing, but even if ppl are uninformed and think it’s in their best interest i don’t think u can say they are doing so unwillingly unless they are literally be forced out their homes to mourn for this man publicly

the only american socialists or communists mourning iran commander's death are dumb niggas on twitter clout chasing. most ppl 'mourning' his death are upset that america made the dumbest move in middle east since invasion of iraq that has needlessly escalated tensions with iran.

Sadly, nuclear capability is the best deterrent against foreign interference in our current climate. Just like how Israel literally said in a moment of honesty: Iran would be crazy not to work towards nuclear capability.

yeah i mean in a weird way

this whole situation kinda proved why countries like iran want nukes in the first place

    think about it:

we had a deal with iran. everyone agreed that iran was holding up their end of the deal. but we pulled out of the deal, which hurt them economically. then we put even more sanctions on them, basically trying to crash their economy on purpose. iran gets pissed off and raids the us embassy. the us then assassinates their general

would anything like that ever happen if they had nukes?

and more importantly, will any country want to take a deal with the us limiting nukes after this? would they even listen to us again?

we're def gonna be dealing with the impact of this for a very long time

This is a clear message to world leaders that if your country is gonna go against US interests, you should try to get your hands on nuclear arms asap. It's sad but the US doesn't give these countries any other choice. Whether you reach an agreement or not, you will be targeted in the end, and the Democrats are showing us that it will be done with little to no opposition.

If there's ever going to be a nuclear war, it can only be blamed on the recklessness of US leaders and their apologists.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's Iran-allied Hezbollah movement, said during a speech Sunday that only U.S. military assets, not U.S. civilians, should be targeted in retaliatory attacks for the killing of top Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani, according to the Washington Post.

I was just thinking this. if Iran or affiliates go for American citizens, it will cause us to want to fight

  • Jan 5, 2020

At this point we’ve probably surpassed a nuke anyway tbh

  • Jan 5, 2020

they won't go for american citizens, but I wouldn't be surprised if the cia gets some poor iranian person to blow themselves up

The point is mutually assured destruction as a deterrence, not using them pre-emptively.
