I understand Grace perspective but she could’ve waited a couple minutes for them to formulate a better plan.
Agreed brother she was wilding outchea
Nothing's wrong. There was a discussion happening pages ago about the scene, that's really the only reason I wanted to comment on it on my rewatch. I, for example, posted that I thought it could've been his sister on my first watch (before you find out). Or whoever. The ambiguity, that's all.
I thought it was his sister too until son lifted the skirt up

Yup like I said, the convo wasn't friendly so you can see lovers/ex-lovers, but it also ain't hard to see a lil older sister or auntie whose nerves be WORKIN off Smoke and Stack shenanigans lol
Even the fact that she kept bringing up Stack and not just Smoke, I was like yeah this a family member that had to put up with their s*** for too damn long.
I wish Harder They Fall and They Cloned Tyrone got releases like this.

like c'mon now this movie would have made so much money if they gave it a Sinners like promo run and kept it in theaters longer than a week.
I have to watch again, feel like I didn’t notice a lot first watch so I’m sure you’re right and I do remember that scene looking back now
yeah if you watch it again check for it, i feel like it’s not as ambiguous as ppl are saying
now THATS how you make a horror movie
So f***ing refreshing. First horror movie I’ve liked since nope.

This hard?
100%
I’m trippin I actually seen it but forgot, gonna give it a rewatch with my girl this weekend thanks for the reminder
Yeah so that whole scene with Cornbread killing ol boy -> Bo pulling up like nothings wrong -> Remmick’s offer -> Stack’s plea to Smoke was the highlight of the movie to me

My favorite Coog movie so far
Creed 1 and Black Panther 1 are still pretty special, but the montage scene in the club is unbeatable rn

Yeah, I hear you. I actually somewhat agree on the ambiguous part. It was the same for me at first, but I was fine with letting it play out, just figuring it'd get more clear as the scene progressed.
that club scene with Sammy singing was really something else man, i had chills the whole time
if the theory that Chadwick Boseman was supposed to play one of the twin brothers, then man
that mid-credits scene hits hard with that slight tribute to him

I keep meaning to get around to this, I don’t know how I haven’t actually watched it yet.
