i dont see him choosing not to get involved in most rap bullshit really as pretentious, because thats all i feel like he does really. bro prides himself on keeping to himself and being like one of maybe two niggas in his generation of rappers talking about staying out of trouble and trying to elevate ones self and family

I will say that i legitimately don't think he was/is cripping like he says though.. it makes for good content but he's been rapping professionally for way too long and he's has too much good decision making capability to actually be an active gang member. His music is good to rap fans but obviously falls flat to genpop.

So the fact he's been able to consistently drop music and show up to performances, interviews make videos etc etc just doesn't give actual gangbanger. I'm from Atlanta tho so idk how the gang niggas are out in long beach but over here it's essentially a nigga that cannot fit into society for some reason or another.

Ppl on this site cant relate to that because everyone on this forum wants to see black men crash out thus think a black man that doesnt even like strangers over at his house as something “pretentious” and not just a nigga that loves peace.

Like a LOT of niggas hated on him for his views during the beef (just pointing out everything that was wrong with the industry + rappers getting f***ed over), which…that’s just real.

Edit: aint even read through this thread making that last paragraph lololol. Even I was annoyed at first but as an artist…like I dont think niggas realize how BAD the landscape has gotten + about to get for us in the long term. Maybe that’s why I’m not as annoyed about him bringing it up during everyone asking him for his opinion (“nigga we literally are not making money anymore from music f*** I care about rap beef for”)
