All it comes down to is finding a guy whose entire persona is 'above-it-all downer' annoying, the clips of him ITT don't peturb me because they're getting at subtle uncomfortable truths, they're giving me second-hand exhaustion from imagining being around this guy

That kind of behaviour, I don't know where you got this idea that any criticism of someone is a reflection of internal insecurities, but sometimes a person is just annoying and it's not any deeper than that

I think Vince is genuinely funny and smart but also would probably be annoying to talk to

He always talks condescending in his interviews like he's smarter than everyone and he puts the interviewer down, always pessimistic about stuff everyone likes, tries too hard to be different, wants to preach about stuff and basically guilt trips the listener into agreeing and worst of he's so f***ing pretentious. Like i could let all that go if he wasnt such a pretentious ass nigga who Tries that chapelle deadpan comedy style entirely too much.

I mean, It’s quite literally always deeper than that. if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t be emotionally triggered even in the slightest by anything he says or does. Especially considering you don’t know him from Adam and I’m willing to guess you’ve probably never sat down and had an actual conversation with him in person. So why does this person whom you don’t know and have never met have the ability to actually create an emotional reaction within you from great distances even if it’s on a minor scale? It’s up to you to figure out why that is if you like but when you really break it down, it sounds kind of insane to give a f*** at all.
