Asides from the before trilogy, the best love stories are lesbian films.

    Carol
Portrait of a lady on fire
    Blue is the warmest colour
    High art

Titanic (up until the sinking) is a terrible terrible film. Appalling characterization, dialogue and (lack of) plot

I know we are all being aggressive in here but i’m asking calmly here
How is Killmonger mid for you?

Just wasn’t enough of a bad guy for me. How could you hate a “power to the people” kind of guy. Nothing about his story was exciting. Yeah he beat the s*** out of black panther but then got his ass whopped by black panther. Im hearing the comics had a more interesting killmonger but as of for the movies, it wasn’t it for me

It's just a terrible version of Saving Private Ryan imo

I'll never understand the hype for it

So you don’t like that he was a sympathetic villain with a actually substantive reasoning to do what he’s doing in the film?

Honestly I think the sequel fixed what didn't work for the first movie w/ the villain (Kurt Russel )

Rocket’s development. When he laid the traps
    Gamora and Nebula’s relationship
Peter Quill lashing out at Ego for killing his mother
    Yondu’s sacrifice, funeral.
Drax and Mantis moment where he sits and she just feels his overwhelming sadness.

GOTG is Star Wars and Vol. 2 is Stark Trek.

Drax really came into his own and his relationship w/ Mantis was a great development to his character. Really hope we get one more film out of the original group & Id bet it would be amazing (especially if Thor is in it).

well the rumors of Vol. 3 say that Drax will find out his daughter is alive. I can’t wait for that.

People were s***ting on Drax for his comedy and not enough development but honestly we got to take in mind that he’s a pretty straight forward character with a very clear objective and tragic past. Can’t flesh him out all too much until something like reuniting with a loved one happens.

Damn, that sounds great. Really hope that's true. I think the people that don't enjoy the humor in these movies (and all Marvel flicks) just don't understand that at the end of the day these are fun movies to be enjoyed with the whole family. No reason to be serious 100% of the time especially for a superhero movie lol

I can see how people don’t jive with Marvel Humor. When it’s done badly, Jesus Christ is it awful and on the nose.

I feel like GOTG set up it’s tone perfectly so i can adequately accept the cornier aspects of it’s humor.
