No he directed him to be stoic (and a bit nervous). I’ve never bought Cavill as stoic as much as I’ve bought him being suave, charming or snide. But side note it’s funny how the actor who is best at being charming - and his best performance moments in the film are when he’s just being chill and charming - was directed to be mostly stoic and nervous…as Superman.
Either should’ve been someone who can be believably stoic and nervous (which Cavill can’t do) as well as charming and lovable, or Snyder could’ve written a Superman that didn’t need to be directed to be stoic

the stoicness felt inhuman or uncanny valley . Superman doesn't need to be that stoic.

Have one episode left but this show has had 0 engaging villains, it's too episodic, the humor doesn't land and every fight is just Terry relying on the suit. No gadgets like smoke bombs, just rocket shoes or the occasional batarang

The foreboding jazz music in Perry Mason has got to be some of the most refreshing stuff I've heard in a bit and is really engaging and organic over some of the recent works of big Hollywood names like Ramin Djawdi, Hans, and Ludwig
And that's not to put them down in comparison but this guy's work on Perry Mason is great
