Disagree. I think the overall universe of Star Wars is rich and interesting. At least EU/Legends was. There is some interesting lore throughout the universe, and it’s fleshed out decently enough.
Where it falls short though is that, with all the world building, foundation, and concepts they put in place, when it comes to the actual stories that utilize all of it, they’re usually pretty lackluster imo. Only a handful of actual good to great story arcs through out the lore. Everything else is painfully mediocre.
The clone wars animated series was the best itteration of the star wars lore/universe. Don't @ me (and this shouldn't even be a controversial opinion imo)

which one, the 2003 one by the Samurai Jack creator or the 08 one?
Anime fans get on my nerves because they will let you know that a dark skinned character isn't Black but turn around and say any blonde character is white not Japanese
Yall see a nigga, who was in one movie and had a dry role, land a supporting role in a new flick and swear he gone kill the game.

Yea 03 version is the best iteration of Star Wars if that is the one you're talking about
Final season of Game of Thrones wasn't that bad. 5-7 were much worse.
season 6 was great

Anime fans some of the worst type of people.
Birdman one of most underrated films oat imo

Besides the animation the only reason i can think of to why it's so popular is that tanjiro is a pretty mature protagonist but i also think that's a problem in itself.
What do you mean exactly? (About it being a problem)

Tanjiro never felt like a real character to me. He's 15 has his whole life basically ruined by demons yet has no type of trauma, is always morally right, and kind to everyone including demons. now if this was a flaw in his character kinda like gon from hunter x hunter i'd be more accepting of his character. The maturity is refreshing for a shonen MC but as a character himself he seems flawless and that's not really interesting to me. It doesn't help that i find the supporting cast hella weak.

Tanjiro has no internal conflict or anything so I can see why he's not that compelling of a character, even though I appreciate that he's mature. He's at least better compared to the rest, especially the dude in orange who's auditioning for a metal band every goddamn episode

08 one. But I guess that applies to the 03 one too.
