I’m sick of Hollywood recycling the same actors, especially the same black actors. I see a lot of people on social media advocating for Michael B. Jordan to play Superman and while I def would love to see a black actor in that role, why does it have to be him? He’s a great actor but can he really body that role in a way that no one else can?
He’s had hella high profile roles already and has been in a superhero movie, so why does he need to be in another one? I wish people would take more chances on less-known actors and give them chances to shine and prove themselves instead of recycling the same mfs. that’s why there’s so little diversity in black talent
Because he, Will Smith, Gambino and a few other names already do well with getting white dollars at the box office and hollywood loves a sure thing
I loved that movie when I was younger, the villain used to scare me tho.
"When I killed your brother Eddie..
I talked
JUST
LIKE
THIS!"
I agree but it's gotten A LOT better, there was a time before Boseman and MBJ that people were requesting Sam Jack, Denzel, and Idris to play every black man ever.
A non Black person i know was saying Terry Crews should play as Doom Fist. I wanted to beat his ass
Specific examples of this?
Kryptonians sound British vs
the "devolved" atlanteans in Aquaman
Pineapple Express is boring and isn't funny AT ALL.
Honestly tried rewatching it during the holidays and I couldn't finish it. It was an awful experience.

They LOVE Terry Crews
Gave Br2049 another try and again, great visuals, dope sounds, and a nice story concept.
I just don't feel anything for the main character. Not sure if it was the lack of emotion on the actor's part or the fact he's playing a replicant. I also never really got a sense of urgency or pressure. Felt like I got in a car and drove the scenic route at 20mph for 2 hours.
The reliance on Decker was pretty dry and Letos character was even dryer.
A great looking and sounding film tho.. with some nice themes told in a boring way

gosLing and Leto in the same movie, boy you know you're in for some mid

Kryptonians had various accents tho, pretty sure Russell used his "american" accent too.

This how I feel about Tropic Thunder. Aged like milk

This is how I feel about the movie too. But I'm really anticipating a rewatch cause its so aesthetically pleasing and the concept is cool

I always said that it would’ve been a better film if it only focused on the relationship between K and Joi and didn’t even bring in Deckard
which third is complete ass
Idk but there’s at least 10 episodes I don’t f*** with. I’ll give you specifics when I rewatch in a few years

Hell no
Always liked that one, talking more about the filler episodes that deal with family crap
And not even the immediate family, fkn Hank and Marie

Yeah especially with the whole "they're both made to serve" and "aren't real humans" thing

I always hated the last hour cause it feels like an action film shoehorned into a thought provoking sci fi film. The exploration of if two robots/ai can love each other is way more interesting than fighting.

That's why I gave it another chance
Eh, I felt like K & Joi got the appropriate amount of time they needed on screen. Didn't need that to go any deeper than it was. And plus we can see that the relationship wasn't as deep as we initially might've thought after he saw her advertisement through out the city.
The rest of the movie I thought was good. Not the best Villenueve film, but I thought it was still enjoyable. I prefer it over the original, that s*** was a mess to me.
Wish they would've went with Gyllenhaal over Gosling though. Felt like he would've gave a lot more in that role than Gosling did.
