to be fair to Fury Road isn’t that the whole fun of the movie?
Nobody came for anything more or less
Nope. Fury Road fans don't just appreciate the action. It didn't get its cult following from solely having cool action set pieces. It's a masterclass of visual storytelling that utilizes elements of narrative structure in ways rarely seen in blockbuster movies. You only see this type of craftsmanship in blockbusters like Jurassic Park or Terminator 2: Judgment Day. For example, the details of the universe are not explained through expository dialogue, instead they are mostly told through costume/production design and character interactions. In addition, storylines and character arcs are shown through various action sequences scenes. Dismissing Fury Road as just a spectacle shows a lack of appreciation or awareness of the in-depth craftsmanship put in creating this type of movie, imo.
Just that 8 is the best one.
Oh, in my defence, I haven't seen 8 since it came out whereas i watched 7 a few weeks ago. Im gonna watch soon and ill get back to you

Maybe now that you can't be let down by your expectations you can enjoy the movie for what it really is which is a great movie imo. A lot of people still don't like it though.

TLJ top 3 easy SW
BoJack Horseman had a really good run until season 5. It was very meh and kinda lazy.
Also the series finale was kinda weak

For sure. If ESB wasn't so iconic I would have no trouble saying TLJ is my favorite star wars film.
What's funny is ESB wasn't loved when it first released either.

ESB is just too f***ing good
it doesn’t even really have a bad B Plot like every other SW film has.
The only thing TLJ has over ESB for sure is a more interesting Luke to me and the Cinematography is eons better but that’s because of it’s time.

TLJ doesn't get enough credit for how good Luke was.
Everyone's too salty he threw the light saber lol
Or hung up on Luke almost killing Kylo lol
Even though Luke almost killed his own father lol

heavily disagree.
I would say 5 is the second weakest season of all 6 seasons but nah man too many amazing episodes in it
and 6 is really solid even though they couldn’t wrap up everything exactly how they would have wanted because it was cancelled.

dweebs mad that Luke was given conflict and a different path to go down then what they had originally wanted which was some milk toast bland ass Mando SZN 2 Version of Luke Skywalker
him throwing the light saber was not only really f***ing funny to me, it was also great symbolism of how Luke actually feels about the Jedi by this point. F*** Em, Let em Die Out.
and they’re surprised that Luke would be overcome with fear and slightly think about killing the next potential space Hitler?
like bro Luke was constantly giving up and f***ing up in the original trilogy lmao
People who praise any of the action set pieces in TLJ shouldn’t have an opinion on action set pieces.
heavily disagree.

Free Churro carried that season lol. It was too many things I felt like was a waste of time in that season. Like Todd and his girlfriend (although Todd was never interesting really)
Or Princes Carolyn breaking up with Ralph again
Bojack's arc was biggest disappointment tho. Dude literally threw out all his pills cuz he thought he hurt someone last season, then gets addicted to pain pills and hurts someone in season 5.

he hadn’t ever had an opioid addiction until Season 5
he threw those pills out because his mother had been slipping them in the coffee’s
He was grieving his mother dying and not having any closure in terms of actual attachment with her.
plus his paranoia of being outed for his problematic behavior in New Mexico because Diane found out
PC went through really amazing character growth and she didn’t “Break up with Ralph Again” they never got back together and people constantly miss the point of why she never got back and that’s because she couldn’t rely on Ralph being there for her when things get messy like it did earlier.
Can’t really make anyone like Todd’s story but it at least was something generally interesting and different.
Just because they both related with being ace doesn’t mean they would fit together as a couple.

No he didn't lol.
BoJack threw the pills out first and THEN found out what his mom did. I don't even feel like his grieving was a BIG part of his opioid addiction especially since I don't think his mom was brought up again that season, I could be wrong tho. Also him not knowing that paper was just promo for the show because he didn't turn it over was soooo f***ing lame lmaoo. I had a feeling they were gonna pull that s*** too.
PC did have the best development in the show, it's just that s*** with Ralph was a waste of time. She broke up with him after he recommended other options for having a baby, cool. Then later she decides to adopt and meets Ralph asking him if he's single, telling him she wished she stayed that night. Then being like "I have plans and you're not in them." I'm not mad they didn't get together it just felt like a waste having him come back just for that.
As for Todd that s*** with Yolanda was a waste because I knew it was gonna happen. I could tell when they first introduced her in season 4. "The only thing we have in common is that we're both asexual." OH WORD?!!!
Definitely didn't see that coming lol.

See at first I thought it was cool but it's kinda dumb too lol.
Him almost killing his dad ain't even that big since he didn't even know him. That man Vader had killed his homie Ben, had a planet blown up and cut off his arm. Luke showed him mercy tho because "there's still good in him or whatever" cool.
But then one night he sensed some evil in his nephew, so he was gonna kill him LMAO
IN HIS SLEEP?!!!
LIKE A B****?!!

Bruh you must not be paying attention.
BoJack threw out the pills AFTER her found out his mother d***ged Hollyhock. (Wait actually you’re right) still he threw them out because he thought she got into them and even so BoJack is constantly irresponsible and getting back into his addictions like alcohol
He only got on an opioid addiction because he got into a accident at work that PC could have helped him avoid.
BoJack mentioned his mother literally after the Free Churro episode constantly by the way.
He has s*** racing through his mind at all times.
This is completely in line with his character and what his arch is.
PC doesn’t owe Ralph a relationship. They broke up, she even asks why he didn’t just come back the next morning or whatever. She was drunk when she broke up with him lmao. It was specifically to address why their relationship was never meant to be. He gave up on her.
not gonna defend Todd’s stories. He was always more of a side character comic relief with a little bit of story on his sexuality.
also Mr. PB and Diane got some character development that season that was actually interesting to watch.

it was a fleeting moment of weakness.
You telling me if you could sense the next Space Hitler you wouldn’t be overcome with fear and might actually take action then and there?

I'm saying if I didn't kill the last big bad in the universe because he "might still be good," I'm not just gonna jump to killing my sister's kid, IN HIS SLEEP just cuz "I sensed some evil in the boy" lmao

If he had jumped to the only conclusion being to kill Kylo then it would have already been done. by the way it turns out he was right
he should have done it but Luke is not that kind of person and that’s why he felt so conflicted in the moment and stopped in the time span of a “fleeting shadow”
This is a mislapse of judgment
