The Iraq wars objective was not successful in that the insurgency became a significant problem, but Saddam and his government were ousted. There’s hoping the US war effort fails due to internal resistance, and there’s hoping a theocratic regime remains “wins”

I read the entire chapter 2, it was about turning the war between imperialists into a war between classes. Lenin decided that the defeat of Russian imperialists was the lesser of 2 evils, so effort should be put on opposing the war from the home front. I’m saying if that was the case, there should be coordination between both the American and iranian working classes in opposing their governments, instead of hoping the Iranian government comes out on top

The reason America takes it too far is when they force other countries to engage in said sanctions, that’s the problem. Also there are ways or sanctioning specific people from specific things instead of starving an entire country, you seem to overlook that, even if that’s not what America is doing with Iran now

Yes, I opposed the strike killing Soleimani in the first place, and opposed trump pulling out of the Iran deal. Iran and US should have less tense relations, but I don’t think a couple sanctions against government officials would be out of order
