i suppose this could lead to the imprisonment of trans people and persecution of LGBTQ people from other citizen.
i do think equating this to literally imprisoning someone for 10 years because they said they were gay are not necessarily the same scope though, albeit i see the points being made

No, it's not. I'm South African, saying we're underdeveloped economically, in terms of infrastructure - sure. But I'll disagree if we're talking about legal policies focused on discrimination and acceptance of the LGBT+ community
