Congress has no idea that special access programs were keeping things from them for decades.

The coordinated effort by govt whistleblowers over the last 5 years was absolutely genius.

Luis elizondo and Christopher Mellon worked incredibly hard to frame the issue as a national security problem with "unknowns" flying in our air spaces and we don't know what it is.

That's how you get Congress attention, make them think it's a foreign country in our airspace.

Next they get pilots to start talking to congress and telling them that there are many near misses with our military and that the crafts have capabilities that nothing in our arsenal has.

Then you change the protocols for whistleblowers in the govt to not get in trouble as long as it's reported to the right authorities.

Now you make Addendums to make sure govt contractors with the department of energy and companies like Lockheed have amnesty and will receive zero punishment for keeping this all secret as long as they reveal the information now.

Because the truth is, that's the only way we get disclosure. you have to hand wave the crimes the govt committed.

That is the exact timeline of events of how this came to be.

And now we're here with open public hearings on this subject next Wednesday and the govt has just proposed the disclosure act which has some of the most insane language I've ever read. It literally mentions "sentient non human intelligence" that's what Congress is pushing right now.
