If an artist says Idgaf about this music s***, we in turn shouldn’t give a f*** about them. If only the world worked that way
Let someone say Ian is a great musician on here and they'd get dogpiled
Let Tyler agree with yall and then it's time to switch it up
He was right!! He just contradicted himself
that Ian song is good lol
soundcloud era brought us incredible music but the meme rappers changed how people viewed it
i don’t think i’ve ever really thought about the impact of the soundcloud era tbh. s*** was so brief but it hit like an atomic bomb…now we’re dealing with the fallout
why do you think there’s such a big difference between the new gen and old?
I feel like the newer artists learned the wrong lessons from artists like young thug and future, whereas that generation learned the right lessons from artists like wayne and gucci mane.
Alot (not all) of new artists took all the effortlessness from lil wayne, young thug, future, gucci mane etc. but took none of the fundamental skill that allowed them to be effortless in the first place.
Im just talkin out my ass tho lmfao but thats what i think
Bad faith thread title for a Tyler interview wow am I SHOCKED
facts its only allowed for Lil Yachty
why do you think there’s such a big difference between the new gen and old?
this is part 2 of where my thoughts go. i'll come back to this
Another thing to factor in is the business side of things. It's hard to give a f*** when you bleed money from touring and that's been a major concern for a while, so in a sense, I do get why some of these musicians tend to stretch themselves thin by trying to do so many things outside of perfecting their craft
They probably were never gonna perfect their craft to begin with then
Tyler released a very small amount of "meme music" compared to the amount of actual sincere art he's dropped.
Why tf all the rappers who came into the game making parody music all so bitter now
B****** is an incredible mixtape let’s not
Tyler released a very small amount of "meme music" compared to the amount of actual sincere art he's dropped.
meme is sincere art
you’re delusional if you don’t see any truth in what he’s saying. as usual with tyler’s takes

Blows my mind when most of the classics in hip hop history are made by rappers 25 and under
He doesn't have a say imo.
