GizThis is likely going to take rap album of the year, and it will at the very least be nominated for AOTY. Sonically, this is a damn masterpiece.
Tyler also showing his vulnerability like never before and growth as an artist also hits different. He's not the same as he was when B****** dropped and I'm happy that he's not.
Finally, as much as many spoke about the "Big 3", Top 5 or GOAT. Truthfully, Tyler needs to be in that discussion moreso now than ever. He's more of a complete artist that "gets it" from a musicianship standpoint and even as a lyricist. A complete package.
Prince would've loved him tbh.

Oct 30, 2024There’s a few tracks here that aren’t clicking for me but overall this is growing on me hard. Noid, Darling I, Take Your Mask Off, and Like Him are the standouts for me.

yeah i noticed that too, surprised it took him this long to start using it. i also like how he blended it in with other horn sounds and live horn sounds.
i also noticed he's never actually gone to the triton and actually use their direct stuff. especially with the VST version. i guess that neptunes triton guitar or the other many many neptunes presets in there is a bridge to far for him
