Tyler also showing his vulnerability like never before and growth as an artist also hits different. He's not the same as he was when B****** dropped and I'm happy that he's not.
Finally, as much as many spoke about the "Big 3", Top 5 or GOAT. Truthfully, Tyler needs to be in that discussion moreso now than ever. He's more of a complete artist that "gets it" from a musicianship standpoint and even as a lyricist. A complete package.
Prince would've loved him tbh.

Nah, that legit gave me chills tbh. Went through the exact same stuff w/ my dad. Glad we rekindled our relationship after years of absence, no shows, only hearing my moms perspective of who he is, and finally realizing that he is a good dude and that she played a part in it not working out.

In terms of subject matter, this is basically Tyler's 808s and Heartbreak... and 4:44
Some of his best songwriting too. I remember watching Eric's reviews of Tyler's last project, and one of his main critiques was that Tyler has nothing to rap about.
This makes up for all of that.
