Just because the air movies/shows that are staples in black community don’t mean they aren’t checkin for white viewers, matter of fact in mid 2000s white teenage viewers were among BETs top demographic of viewers

I will say @Sk8brdKee got a point.

It's funny how as soon as these award ceremonies start decreasing RAPIDLY in relevance (I aint even know the BET Hip Hop Awards was tonight), now all of a sudden they become hyper aware on black culture. It's like...hooray you a lord now but only lord of the flies type of s***.

Bro, my point is why Tyler still care about these award shows, when these niggas really don't care about his music. That's not me dissing him at all. I feel he should appreciate the fact that he's winning outside of these shows, he got a cult following, he got clothing line that he's excelling well with, he got multiple things going well for him. He's already making a huge impact without the need of these awards, but I'm the one that needs to come back to reality.

He made simping more acceptable and made it possible for rappers to get away with having writers I guess
