Honestly impressive how he stepped it up for that album after basically being a veteran in the game by that point
Bro really locked in
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwBFOuCrdr4His music never clicked for me literally until that album. Very very good album

Me neither bro, Nipsey has always had some amazing singles and his projects were okay but he never released something as concise and focused as Victory Lap until then.
That's why it annoyed me when he died and people started acting like they was idolizing bro for their whole lives. I'm from LA and Nipsey was always respected for what he does for his community but being brutally honest he wasn't really placed on that pedestal like that

Who the f*** cares what this person has to say
Literally who the f*** is that person who tweeted💀
Who was the last truly iconic artist to pass?
Amy Whitehouse?
MJ?
Gotta be missing somebody no?
D'Angelo died last year fam.
Real
These posers always get exposed
Before people like Juice world?
Juice wrld is massive 6 years after his death and way bigger than nipsey hussle lol
Tbh if you’re iconic to a large group of people and they genuinely believe it then thats ur legacy
Nipsey was a staple in LA culture well before he passed. I dont expect niggas from twitter or out of town to care or understand

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZosSNMQwIkAlthough there were definitely folks who were major/super fans of him before
Even if the albums/mixtapes pre VL could be considered 'okay' folks could still love his music/have him as their favourite/one of their favourite acts. I remember an international friend of mine who stayed up super late to get on a fan video call with Nipsey in like 2011.
Music that some may consider just 'okay' is more than enough to make many folks super fans.
Twitter was a mistake

You're right, I'm being a little too harsh on Nipsey here, but not because of Nipsey, mostly because I've seen too many people try to adopt this "Marathon / Hustler" aesthetic after he passed, almost like a contest of who was a bigger fan before he passed even though I know half them wasn't f***ing with him like that
Nipsey deserves the praise though, he was talking some real s*** fr
This is just outrage bait
