Pnb was cool on changes but their other songs together are all boring
Trippie redd just stinks, I used to like f*** love but that song is not aging well
Ill never forgive what they did to pop smoke after he died
Was one of the most interesting artist on the come up but his biggest songs now are of a damn near pop album they released after he died

this post got me thinking about all the rappers who had buzz/made XXL Freshman class who've now 'fallen off'
Must been really rough to be popping and then fall off, especially since it's hard to reinvent & ever reach the hype again
Seems like only ~25-30% of the XXL Freshman still have 'viable' careers (able to have continued success/growth/able to tour etc.)
I love how everybody saying Nip, X, or Mac itt
When the tweet is clearly directed at Aaliyah fans.
For years, some Aaliyah stans feel that if she had lived, Beyoncé wouldn’t be where she is now.
This lead to some Bey stans feel like they can downplay Aaliyah’s legacy as an artist and they feel like she’s only iconic, because she passed, which is a wild take of it’s own.
A lot of y’all won’t give a f***, but that’s really what this is about.
Check the date and time.
This is a worst take than what the original tweet was mad about. Nipsey had dope projects, problem is everyone has a platform where all it takes is some likes and teteeets for their bullshit opinion to be looked at as “facts”

two GOATs can coexist
On some level it could be argued that it's better that we don't engage the tweet's true intentions
I have heard the Aaliyah/Beyoncé thing before, fandoms are so weird fr fam
I’m not saying artists impact doesn’t receive a crazy boost when they pass.. I get that but just because you weren’t a fan or weren’t impacted by their art or presence doesn’t mean others weren’t. So why even b**** and moan about it?
There’s a reverse, recent phenomenon where someone does something bad, and it doesn’t even have to be THAT bad, it just has to upset the right people to make it a thing, and all of a sudden that person’s accomplishments don’t matter or that their talent never existed.
Everyone wants tone on the right side of history, revisionist history at that
Nipsey>Juice Wrld and XXXstensioncord
Not sure if Juice is a legend but I saw him at Bonnaroo the year before he died. Had the biggest crowd of the weekend and everyone there was going nuts. He had a bigger wave and more potential than most buzzing rappers do.
Victory Lap was Grammy nominated while he was alive, death of course speeds things up but he was gaining momentum within the mainstream off the success of that album
Facts he was really just gettin started mainstream wise.
niggas comparing Aaliyah to beyonce has always been stupid as f*** she coulda lived a hundred more years and woulda never been better than beyonce its just anti beyonce people who push this propaganda
