I'm aware of the tone switch and am anticipating FWWM & The Return to be much darker than the first 2 seasons. So that's not gonna be much of an issue

Would you consider The Return to be as hard to follow as let's say Inland Empire? It's probably the only film by Lynch that i can't make sense of. Still love it a lot though

Tbh the insame amount of hype and praise for The Return is the main reason i started watching TP, mannnnnn i just can't wait to see what it is all about. Hopefully i saved the most special effort by Lynch for last!!

i mean it's gonna get very abstract at times lol i was talking more in general but there's definitely some special situations it's an 18 hour epic you feel me it's gonna have a bit of everything mixed in keep an eye on the eight and you'll have your abstract

i mean i enjoy the characters so i'll probably still enjoy the rest. The last few episodes they really started showing more of all the supernatural stuff and i'm really loving that aspect

Can't wait to get to FWWM & season 3, i have never seen something get so much praise in the reviews on Letterboxd than The Return

S2 has some amazing moments you haven’t even reached yet if you’re only halfway through. But yes, there’s a few scenes in the return that absolutely f*** your mind. Still thinking about one of them to this day.
