with a high possibility that lauras scream was the last thing we ever saw and heard from the twin peaks universe i'd say the latter for sure.
Its a fitting way to end its just something about it seems so disturbing. I guess it's cause I know everyone watching that last episode was hoping for some kind of resolution for Laura & Coop

maybe the resolution is: we live inside a dream

Nah not at all, I use to find it hard as hell to sit down and watch a hour & a half long movie. I can't believe I'm watching like these two/three hour long films now during this quarantine lol. Just getting into his other work so I completely understand

yea once i start digging into movies, i will def. start with lynch no doubt.
the only thing I didn't like in season 3 was some random guy beating bob instead of coops!
@Soupvillain watching Riget (The Kingdom) by Lars von Trier rn, miniseries with two 4-part, 4h seasons. He says himself that it was inspired by Twin Peaks, and it actually is pretty peaks-y. Not just the sepia tone or the supernatural/horror elements, but actually most of all that it's just such a large ensemble cast with so many interesting characters. Only 2 hours in so far but I'm loving it, highly recommended!

Yo, I've been working my way up to Riget actually
great timing. I was going to finish the Europa trilogy first and then jump right into it, moving in chrono order for once lol. Only been able to find The Element of Crime so far
Tbh that's exciting to hear, I do get Lynch vibes from some of the ways in which he sets his themes in the early works, nice to hear him say it though.
Seen a French show called Belphegor also credited as a big nfluence for the show
I am in absolute love with The Return, haven't stopped thinking about, have had the OST/Soundtrack on replay and even revisited Mullholand Drive after a decade. Loved it this time around, 10x more.
Season 3 has made me appreciate the abstractness of Lynch's work more than anything. An extremely inspirational, brave and spellbinding season of television.

that twisted ass chopped n screwed version of American Woman >>>>>>>
What's more haunting?
How's Annie? or Laura's scream at the end of The Return?
2 years ago I would have said Season 2’s last scene but now I can’t choose
Season 1 > First 9 + final 3 episodes of season 2 >= Return > FWWM > rest of season 2
Haven’t seen missing pieces yet, is it worth a watch?
Lynch brought back his weather report from the davidlynch.com days
apparently made a new youtube channel called David Lynch Theatre
(very in for some shorts and little meme vids?)

Rewatching season 1 makes me wonder if this s*** will ever get old. Young Audrey is so fun to watch and she's so random too lmao
Last 4 eps incoming 😍 this is where s*** gets real
