Damn yeah I hear you on the local part, only thing that makes me hesitant spending time around those parts is isn't it more dangerous? I only know English, so I wonder how difficult it'd be to navigate those territories.
I'm just about ready to say F it and go, but Europe itineraries seem sooo confusing t put together
it seems you SHOULDN'T book a roundtrip if you plan on hitting multiple areas within???
I don’t really think it’s that dangerous tbh. I’ve travelled these places alone or with one other person and I haven’t felt in danger anywhere. Eastern Europe is a bit more openly racist which is why I haven’t been there yet so I would skip that, but it seems like u not tryna go there anyways so you’re fine. And I only speak English as well. Maybe make sure to learn some key phrases like „Where am I?“ or something, but you should be fine
you got pee'd on?
Nah chill austria is right next to my country that s*** aint expensive 😭😭😭

Just downloaded! Was definitely nervous navigating as a English speaker.
Any other tips? Things to look out for?

Weather can't be predicted that far in advance? It probably wont even end up raining
Monsoon season for asian countries usually comes later in the year, like may/june

Definitely wander around Akihabara, go to arcades, do some gacha gacha. Check out Harajuku if you like fashion. Tsujiki fish market is itneresting. Try out the train station food, super good - that was one thing that really suprised me. Wander around the streets, pretty safe. Go to bars, get sushi, check out museums and landmarks.
