Everyone on the internet has their opinion on this case and what you need to understand is that the evidence is not circumstantial, a gun was fired at her, she was injured. The evidence points to Tory firing the weapon which is what the investigation is for. This is a high profile case, until there’s a discovery released on this entire trial you will not know what evidence has been submitted, how it was examined and all other documents submitted in the case.

where does it say there was residue on the friends hands? I cannot find it (genuinely asking)
"Today in court it was revealed that an independent witness reported to the LAPD that he observed a fight break out between the two women in the car, just prior to the shooting," the statement reads. "Megan herself corroborated this account, telling officers shortly after the incident that the argument was between her and the other female passenger in the car."
The statement added, "The independent witness also told officers that the muzzle flash was closest to the other female, which is corroborated by the gunshot residue found on the other female’s hands. It was further established that Megan gave several inconsistent accounts of what happened that night and that she omitted key information to the police. There's literally no evidence of her being shot. NONE. Just the words coming out of her mouth, apparently that's all the evidence people need.
She said on video, she had to get surgery to remove bullets from BOTH her feet. Why are the doctors saying they only treated her for superficial wounds (cuts, abrasions, lacerations) and never recovered any bullet fragments from her feet? Just answer this and how does this make sense to you.

So based on what this says, it’s basically insinuating the residue is on her hands from the muzzle blast. Going off what this literally says, she probably put her hands up because they were firing rounds. If she was sitting next to the shooter, this makes sense.

Residue will go on everyone in close proximity especially in a confined space like a car (they were in). Gun residue alone is not enough to determine the shooter only that a shot was fired. If only Meg had ballistics to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt that could be used to trace back the trajectory to the shooters location from the point of entry.
I think your not looking at this objectivity because Tory is innocent until proven guilty and they're doing an awful job proving it. You don't have to cope for the defense because if Tory really is guilty they'll prove it. A big "if"
