Apr 20, 2025i was raised roman catholic. i used to practice buddhism and taoism many years ago which really helped me. then i went back to roman catholicism because of my mother and godmother. i like the connection i have with them and it's something we have in common. i pray to god every day and i am rewarded with immense luck and protection. i'm still inspired by buddhism and taoism, but like bruce springsteen said: once a catholic, always a catholic.

i also used to be an agnostic/atheist until i did more research on various religions
i just stick to the one i was raised in because it's the default
if you were raised without religion i can understand
i think everyone should be whatever they were raised in or none if they were raised without one
having a religious (or irreligious) connection with your family (and godparents) is important and it feels so good that it'll make you happy and your life less stressful
