All of Travis’ albums are an evolution of his previous sounds. DBR is OP reimagined, Rodeo is DBR and OP reimagined and expanded on, so is Birds and Astroworld and so on and so forth
On astroworld we heard Travis singing on a medley of Thundercat and River Tiber production. Then brought Kanye n Pharrell over Tame Impala s***, like no none of that s*** is safe, it’s unpredictable and insane
That's what I'm talking about son, like this is gonna sound like an outta nowhere comparison but I appreciate Travis' vision for who to bring in, and getting the best out of his collaborators, it kinda reminds me of what Dr. Dre was doing back when he was an active artist.
Being on that level of popularity but still tapping in with dudes like River Tiber is fire to me
