it's not even just Reddit, people are genuinely into that type of stuff some of the posts could be fake but I guarantee that if you check the user history of some of the posters it's real

the perpetrator is trying to cover his ass

1.) screenshot the conversation with your crush and the one with the perpetrator, put it somewhere safe like on a USB stick because you might need it months down the line

2.) tell the perpetrator he will get into legal trouble if the images leak to the public, tell him how high the punishment is for revenge p*** in your state, and that you're not joking around and that it would be obvious who started sending the picture around

3.) take a screenshot of the phone-call-ID of the conversation you had with the perpetrator, time and date

4.) reverse image search your pictures every once in a while on google and on tineye so you can keep an eye on whether the image has leaked

5.) if the image has leaked to the public, try to use either the website's takedown form or a DMCA copyright form, because you have copyright to the pictures you took, so that you can take the images down - for this you should keep the images you sent stored somewhere safely, like on a USB stick or a hard-drive

6.) if the images do leak to the public, talk to a lawyer to file a criminal case against the perpetrator as well, google if there are pro bono lawyers in your area willing to take such a case. police unfortunately won't be too big of a help at first because these types of cases are still relatively new

7.) if you are underage, you can hit them with the child p***ography charges too
