You’re not having any nuance conversation by writing that drivel in the OP. AI is being wielded by captains of industry that wants human labor gone, environment demolished and put that on the taxpayers dime. That’s where the convo should start like all other technological advancement that threatens our way of life.

on the opposite end, real estate firms and law firms are openly using OpenAI to talk to each other via emails and go over their documents for them… it seems that the guilt around using it only exists in certain industries, which sucks overall because said industries are the heaviest investors in the success of AI as they own the lands and knowledge of the paperwork for future data centers
