It's def slow to start, most people recommend you keep going until the Barron's quest line. If you don't f*** with it after that quest line it probably isn't for you

Not sure how meta it is but from what I’ve heard you should do Hearts of stone as soon as you hit lvl. 30 and do Blood and Wine once you complete the main quest.

Get the "Gourmet" ability under general. Play at the highest difficulty if you don't want to breeze past everything.

Also look into the oils for your sword. Made things more interesting for me

Starts off tough but gets way easier when you level up a bit. Think I started off on second hardest difficulty and went to Death March soon after the prologue

Main plot and very few side missions in the main game (saving DLC for when I get a PS5) lived up to this questline. Wish it happened later in the game because of this, kinda feels like the game peaked early

Intro/tutorial section is a bit long from what I remember. Y'all need to get through that and to the Bloody Baron questline. If you finish that and still don't fw the game, then I'd say it's just not for you

Would also recommend giving The Witcher 2 a shot before TW3. Playing it will probably make you more interested in TW3 plot and characters

@LaSean @rhinocerosbeetle i was in the same position as Yall. I probably installed and uninstalled this game 3 times. The more I played the more I got invested in the characters and the lore of it all

It also doesn’t help that this game throws a lot at you at once lol s*** was overwhelming but I’m knee deep in it now
