My issue with the ending is it was all too convenient.

Tim if you changed your mind about the suicide drink why tf would you leave the left overs in the blender? Nobody is that stupid.

Lochlan who the f*** just uses a dirty ass blender???? An actual person would clean it first.

Gaitok, how tf did he know Rick was the shooter? The lady didn’t point him out, all she said was “kill him” AFTER he aimed his gun at Rick. In reality a guard wouldn’t just shoot a person carrying a dead body or suspect he’s the killer.

And don’t get me started on “HES YOUR FATHER!!!” Get the f*** outta here. So this idiot couldn’t say that himself earlier????? Why be an a****** “your mother was a drunk and your father was a POS” or whatever tf he said.

Idk Mike is usually better at making the dots connect but this one just seemed too plotty for the sake of a specific ending.

Lochlan didn’t clean the blender because he wanted to try the pina colada, because his dad told him not to. you can see him look at it and think about it

Laurie's monologue was the highlight for me. Also like how they wrapped up Belinda's storyline with the Tanya parallels.

I saw where it was going when Tim poured the pina coladas out in the sink but not the rest that was in the blender. So that was a bit sloppy, but Lochlan did vomit before passing out so him waking up didn't seem too contrived. I am a bit confused how the rest of the family was able to take one or two gulps without even any type of reactions that night/the next morning tho.

People asking why Lochlan didn't clean the blender, he obviously felt left out the night before and wanted to just try the little that was left and made a smoothie with it. A smoothie and some liquor. Making himself "a man." Made sense to me.

Idk, I guess Rick should've gotten back to the hotel and told Chelsea they gotta get up outta there immediately. It would be fair to assume dude wouldn't take kindly to being threatened in his house. But it was also their last night and the guests have prearranged travel plans with the hotel. Even if they found another spot for the night, they would've had to return for the boat transportation. That part wasn't that much of a big deal to me. Same with dude not coming out being like "I'm your father" lol if that happened that way and there was some type of reconciliation, every one would still be rolling their eyes. He was an a****** dealing with an a******, and he wouldn't ever have to see him again so why would he reveal that if he didn't want it known.

The shootout was a lot tho. Lol they should've had a scene with Rick at the shooting range to show us just how real he was with the steel.

I’ve always thought Rick & Frank used to be hitmen, so that’s why Rick was proficient with the steel

Belinda all of a sudden having millions to start a business with P***chai who she just met would’ve been dumb on her part, she’d have to either tell him how she got the money or lie about it.

She def Tanya’d him but I feel her on just wanting to gtfo and start a new life to keep her & her son as safe as possible

Now that the season is done

I'm gon be real and say that this was the weakest season out of the 3

Still enjoyed it but i feel like some storylines were

    • Number 1 on my list is Tim - Tim story was interesting up until he gave up his phone and just went on a d*** binge. The dialogue between him and the monk was beautiful but other than that he was just a d***ged out hobo fantasizing about murder

    • The poisonous fruit was not poisonous???

    • So rick's pulls a gun at the owner of the hotel, realizes there's no point to kill him and that he's better than that, goes back to the hotel like nothing happened, sees him and goes back to "kill him mode" because he called his mom a s***. Oh btw hes your dad

    • Gaitok says im not a guy who likes violence, then proceeds to kill someone, but lets the robbers get away with it????

    • None of the survivors even mentioning the shootout is kinda crazy - like "Yeah the hotel we just left just had a shootout were like 5ppl died but time to go"

    • Chelsea was a cool character but her whole jig was "i love my bf" - she advanced Saxon's arc a lot and was great comedic relief but idk

    Another thing:

🛑 YOU CANT JUST WIRE $5M TO SOMEBODYS CHECKING ACCT 🛑
    LMAOOOOO

Like based off Anti-Money Laundering regulations + KYC Laws alone - it would at least 2 weeks and a long call with your bank before you see even half of it

Rick storyline the only thing that feels poorly written but I’m okay with it because it gave us a great ending

But is it a great ending if it’s poorly written and takes the laziest route to get there? Mike is one of the best living screenwriters, he could’ve found an organic way to get that ending. Cus that last ying yang shot of them is great, it just sucks that you realize how stupid it was to get there.

i see what you are saying and do not disagree as it relates to Gaitok, but rick was a bad person that deserved what was coming to him***

I mean was he? From his perspective is getting revenge on the person who killed your dad “bad”?

The dad did himself no favors by essentially going along with being his dads killer, which was stupid as f*** and only to drive a specific narrative

His justification for that was wild another reason I was okay with him dying

i don't buy this excuse tbh. was him staring longlingly at his brothers ass also just him being a people pleaser?? cause nobody but him was pleased by that

And the fact he tried to be a complete a****** about it lmao

Felt a bit contrived. Weakest of the three seasons for me, I think.

Why even make him his father? There was no point to it just to have some Luke Darth Vader moment.

This seasons theme was wack but the composer leaving could be a major blow, the music elevates these scenes crazy

uhhh yea cause he gunned down those two relatively innocent security people, and his dad who “pillaged” ? the land and was just a deadbeat. idt any of that is justification

it makes sense. i think people are just thrown by how it's framed as him stepping up to the plate and becoming a badass, when that decision didn't actually require any skills, brains, or guts.

it was just him casting aside his moral convictions and being rewarded for it. which is realistic and kinda on brand for the show, but not very cathartic.

Well him and Chelsea wouldn't have much of a storyline if he wasn't. But it being revealed to him via his wife post-death is ehhhh.

I just think the way they wrote it doesn’t work. He pulls up and the lady screams “go get him” and he automatically draws his gun on a person carrying a dead body? How do you know he was the killer and not also a victim trying to get help?

And then after the lady yells KILL HIM!!!

Him assuming Rick was the shooter made zero sense

The Lochlan x Saxon thing could extend past just sexual curiosity. I think some folks have been looking at that on a pretty surface level because it's hard to get past the actual act of what happened. But it's a chance the writers took lol people are gonna feel how they feel.
