The only real engineering gripe I could see with this album are his vocals on SĂŁo Paulo, but even that seems completely intentional so itâs hard to really call it a mistake
That being directly after I Canât F***ing Sing isnât a coincidence with the vocal effects

even tho im a wake me up pervert, it's kinda bad from the 2nd verse up until that pointless synth just before the outro. both bass parts are inaudible too
cry for me is too loud, and the vocal mix is kinda weird on certain parts, without a warning has no punch, timeless (
), the abyss is tragic after the beat drop. just from top of my head
The Abyss is a bottom 2 song on this album
im willing to accept sao paulo sounding like s***, because apparently that's how brazilian funk is
He may have a point
Itâs the only song on the entire album where the vocals are mixed like that, definitely seems like a creative choice and not a mistake
my only gripe is the length of the album
latter end of the album gets a bit boring

My only gripe is Sao Paulo || and || The Abyss

What you listening on? On my headphones and speaker system I hear everything on Wake Me Up just fine
Cry For Me is a bit too loud but I think it works for the style of song it is
Without a Warning I could see but I think that entire song is a little flat overall in general
Timeless is probably the worst engineered song on the album
And yeah The Abyss beat drop isnât as hard as it should be
My only gripe is Sao Paulo || and || The Abyss
The Abyss been overrated since the IG snippet
Song was never that crazy

Bottom 3?
the structure of the abyss is so weird man
it really feels like there was no idea for it, so they just slapped it on there and put a lana feature.
and that comp vocal after the beat drop is hilarious im sorry, that should not happen on an album of this stature

Nigga needed a song for the dark R&B eaters and threw them a bone

Yep.
Nigga needed a song for the dark R&B eaters and threw them a bone
They got Baptised in Fear
Yep.
Thatâs one of those songs though that I think will be elevated live if he decides to put it on the set list. That beat drop in a stadium would be madness

Still canât believe that isnât metro
Still canât believe that isnât metro
Fr I couldnât believe it either when I learned. Maybe thatâs why it doesnât hit as hard as it should? Metroâs drums would definitely bang right there

Whatâs wrong with it
also without a warning being another one of those tired "dark R&B" with a beat drop shtick for these purists lol. "the crowd" we knew from sao paulo show was way more interesting.
Whatâs your top 3 from the whole Trilogy??
Iâm going
After Hours
Faith
Take Me Back to LA
If ITSE and Starry Eyes was one song ngl it could have cracked top3

I disagree here ngl i like the version we got
