People act like HoB is the only good mixtape, and Thursday and EoS were leftover comps or something, and it just irritates the s*** outta me, lol.
They all have such different strengths too.
House of Balloons is more catchy and accessible than the other two, with more traditional hooks.
Thursday takes the storytelling into overdrive.
Echoes of Silence has the most singular and effective use of atmosphere and, for lack of a better term, “vibes” in his entire career.
They’re all so so good, and I wish they would get more recognition beyond just The Morning and Wicked Games
